Bear Hunt 2026 is upon Happy Camp Ontario! Baits are set, deep soaks ensue, now what will be the quarry? Game pole is ready, knives and broadheads sharpened, camo ready to go. Now the sleepless night begins, tomorrow the Adventure begins.
Rook and I have worked in hopes the Awesome show is a Huge Hit! But without some of my buddies whom I have made thru the years it is not the same. They say Time stands still for no one that is a given. Mom and Dad are gone, Stinky Mike, Seagull, Tommie, now Tim and Henry have left us. Some of the Golden Oldies are on their way, Keith and Donna are bringing a Crew and tomorrow Brandon will start his venture north! Rook and I hope that the Happy Camp Area touches all of their souls like it has ours. Never a Dull moment here, Rook spent the better part of Pre Hunt to race around the Lodge chasing a Red Squirrel. But, he did not catch him, maybe Brandon will.
But the Suckers have moved into the Creek, fist hints of Black Flies have showed up, Big Black Ants are hatching, looking for Bears eat, oops that is the other way around!
